Processing of Orders - Orders are processed and shipped within 1-3 business days unless otherwise noted.
Payment Options
1. Paypal Shopping Cart - Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express via Paypal. No need to have a Paypal account. On shopping cart, quantities are automatically set at 1 when you add items to the shopping bad. To change quantities, just change the number in the shopping cart window to quantity desired and update the cart.
2. Check or Money Order by Mail - Print the page with the item you wish to purchase. Send with U.S. checks with address & phone number imprinted or money orders. Go here to calculate the California Sales Tax 7.25%. Extra processing time for check to clear. Make checks payable to: Marion Jewels in Fiber or Marion JIF, PO Box 6776, Chico CA 95927.
3. Email and Phone - Email your order with address & phone number. Call in your credit card.

Sales Tax - All orders shipped within California are charged sales tax. Sales tax to all other delivery areas are the responsibility of the buyer.
Gifts - Please advise if your purchase is a gift. Gift packaging is included at no extra charge, the receipt can be left out and a card with a message from you to the recipient can be included.
Backorders - Items may be sold out or out of stock, not yet removed from website or may require extra time to be sent. If so you will be notified by email, advised of possible substitutions or time delay and refunded for any items no longer available. Any items not shipped will be refunded.
Colors - While every attempt was made to reproduce colors accurately for the web, colors on your monitor may not precisely match actual colors.

International Destinations - Some international countries are currently not served by the US Postal Services. Check the list here. Global Mail is available to some counties not served by postal mail.
VAT, Custom & Import Fees - Marion Jewels in Fiber as a small business ships Delivery Duty Unpaid (DDU). We do not collect VAT Taxes or Custom & Import Taxes at checkout. Starting July 21, 2021, all goods imported to the EU valued at up to 150 euros (approximately $178) will be subject to VAT and items valued at more than 150 euros will be subject to VAT and duties. VAT rates are different for each EU country based on the service and type of product being delivered, with most VAT fees ranging around 20% of the total cost (sales price plus shipping). All packages shipped include a customs declaration indicating the content, with the value of the items shipped listed.
Shipping Cost - If actual shipping cost is higher than S&H paid, a Paypal invoice will be sent by email before shipping.
If shipping & handling cost is substantially lower a refund will be issued via Paypal. All international orders are shipped insured.
Insurance - All international packages are sent insured.
Tracking - Tracking within the USA for all order - Once it leaves the USA, tracking depends on the country of destination postal services. Check with your postal services or request.

Returns are easy - You may return or exchange any unaltered item you purchased within 10 days of receiving your package. Contact Marion by email/phone right away if there is a problem with the item you received. Return item with a copy of the packing slip in the original packaging and indicate if you want a exchange or a refund. Please insure returns as we cannot refund lost packages. Refund or exchange will be made once the item is received by Marion - Sorry no refund on shipping and handling fees. Cost of return is customer's responsibility.
Damaged-broken merchandise - If any item arrives broken, save all original packaging and contact Marion immediately.
Typos - In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to typographical error or due to incorrect information received from our suppliers, Marion Jewels in Fiber shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. If you have already paid for the purchase and your order is canceled, a refund will be issued, in the amount of the purchase.

These companies (ShipStation, USPS and UPS) use the order information which includes your name, address, email address, phone number and the package info to ship and deliver your orders.
We Save your Order Information - We save emails with your order information which includes your name, address, phone number, email address, and the list of the items you ordered for approximately 2 years as a customer courtesy. We often get requests asking for past order info. This way we can forward you your past orders.
Newsletters - We save your first and last name, and your email address to our email newsletter service. We send occasional emails to keep you informed about new products, techniques, sales, and shows. If you do not want to receive email newsletters you can unsubscribe or contact us by email after placing your order to opt out.
Accounting - For the purpose of accounting, Paypal generates a monthly electronic document with all the transactions on Marion Jewels in Fiber account. Each order is entered with the date of the order, your name, address, email address, phone number and the purchase amount with S&H and California sales tax if applicable. We save this document electronically and are required to keep this information for 7 years as required by law. These documents do not contain any credit card information.
